Emily Robinson
Emily began playing violin and piano at a young age, delighting in performing with youth orchestras across Norfolk and discovering the magic of creating music together. She went on to study Creative Writing and English at university, where she also played keys and sang in an 80s covers band, performing at weddings and local events.
After graduating, Emily worked in pastoral roles at secondary schools, where she saw firsthand how music can inspire, connect, and support young people. This led her to complete a PGCE in Secondary Music at the University of Sussex and teach for several years, running concerts, directing school musicals, taking students to national choir events at Wembley Stadium, and giving private piano lessons while performing with her band around Brighton.
After moving back to Norfolk, Emily also spent time leading music and play sessions for young children, sharing her passion for creativity and connection through music. With her warmth, enthusiasm, and love of bringing people together through song, she now brings a lively, uplifting energy to Rock Choir, where everyone can sing, connect, and shine.
