Inspiring the next generation through singing

Rock Choir Rock Stars is our national youth choir, created especially for children who love music, singing, and performing. Inspired by the Rock Choir experience, Rock Stars brings the same feel-good energy, expert vocal leadership, and welcoming environment to a younger audience.

Designed entirely with children in mind, Rock Stars introduces them to singing in a fun, supportive setting where everyone is welcome. There are no auditions, no requirement to read music, and no pressure, just the opportunity to learn, grow, and enjoy singing together.

Children learn songs from popular artists they know and love, take part in movement and simple choreography, and develop their vocal technique with guidance from experienced Rock Choir Leaders. Most importantly, they gain confidence, build friendships, and experience the joy of being part of a choir.

Flexible sessions for schools and community events

Rock Stars can be delivered in a variety of ways, making it easy for schools, organisations, and communities to offer children a fun and engaging singing experience.

Sessions include:

• School workshops and singing assemblies
• After school choir clubs
• Weekend sessions and special events
• Children’s parties and one-off experiences

Our Rock Stars Leaders are professional musicians and educators who create sessions that are engaging, inclusive, and accessible to all children, regardless of experience.

Rock Stars after school clubs run as regular weekly sessions, helping children develop their singing, confidence, and teamwork over time. These sessions support the KS1 to KS3 Model Music Curriculum and provide a valuable creative outlet within schools.

Singing plays an important role in supporting children’s development, both emotionally and physically. Through Rock Stars, children experience the many benefits of singing as part of a group.

Rock Stars helps children to:

• Develop musical ability and vocal technique
• Feel a sense of belonging as part of a group
• Make friendships and share positive experiences
