Since 2005, tens of thousands of people across the UK and Ireland have discovered the huge benefits of being part of Rock Choir. They have rediscovered their voices, built confidence, enjoyed time for themselves and built lifelong friendships. They have also experienced the incredible well-being and physical benefits that group-singing and being part of the Rock Choir family-network creates.

Everyone is welcome. Whether you’ve never sung before or you’re looking to reignite a passion for music, you’ll find a supportive and fun environment waiting for you where everyone is equal in the room and you can simply turn up to sing, socialise and enjoy yourself.

There are no auditions, no need to read music and no previous experience required. Just a love of pop and contemporary music and the desire to sing and have fun.

What is Rock Choir?

Rock Choir is so much more than just a choir!

We are the largest and original award-winning community choir experience with over 400 local choir rehearsals taking place across England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. Our members come from all walks of life from complete beginners to experienced singers. What unites everyone is their love of singing the best hit pop songs from the decades and the incredible sense of family and community that Rock Choir creates.

Each week, members take part in feel-good and entertaining choir rehearsals led by our talented and fully-trained expert Rock Choir Leaders. You’ll learn exclusive vocal arrangements of hit pop songs made famous in both the current charts and from previous decades. Artists such as Queen, Adele, Stevie Wonder, Keane, Billy Joel, Ed Sheeran, Tina Turner, Earth, Wind and Fire, Bruno Mars, Whitney Houston, Michael Buble, Fleetwood Mac, Maroon 5 and Phil Collins are just a handful of our favourites but our constantly increasing repertoire offers hit after hit to please everyone’s contemporary tastes in songs. Our unique choir-arrangements are created by the Rock Choir Team and are exclusive to us. The feel-good repertoire features not only contemporary favourites but also musical theatre songs, classical-crossover and feel-good gospel hits.

You don’t need any prior musical knowledge. We teach every line and phrase by rote and it’s down to us to ensure you are learning and developing your skills. We just want you to enjoy yourself, build your confidence and enjoy the socialising and natural-high from your experience with us.

Many of our members describe Rock Choir as “life-affirming”, whether they’re performing in venues like Wembley Arena or simply enjoying our local weekly rehearsals with friends. Our journey so far

Founded by award-winning singer and musician Caroline Redman Lusher MBE, Hon DArts, Hon DLitt

Carolines vision was to create a choir for anyone and everyone who loved pop music and wanted to sing. What started initially as a small idea in 2005 has now grown into the world’s largest and most celebrated contemporary community choir with thousands of members nationwide.

An ITV entertainment documentary, a top-twenty album with Universal, breaking Guinness World Records, appearing regularly at arenas, on national television and radio and raising millions for charity, Rock Choir continues to lead the way as a much-loved household name; trail-blazing the contemporary choir movement whilst inspiring thousands of people to discover the joy of singing together.

Our Story So Far
