On Saturday 29th November 2025, we gathered at the BP Pulse Live Arena in Birmingham for a life-changing musical event like no other. Rock Choir LIVE – The Ultimate Christmas Party united over 24,000 voices across two unforgettable concerts, making history as the UK’s largest-ever sing-along concert. This was, without a doubt, the biggest show in Rock Choir history!
The landmark event saw 20,000 singers travel from all corners of the UK and Ireland — from Scotland to Cornwall, Wales, and Ireland — to take part in an extraordinary celebration of music, community, and Christmas magic. Whether singing along or simply soaking in the atmosphere of thousands of voices in harmony, everyone enjoyed an exhilarating and unforgettable concert experience.
A Spectacular Setlist and Record-Breaking Moments
The audience was treated to an electrifying setlist of massive sing-along anthems and chart-topping hits, culminating in a magical Christmas-inspired finale. We sang and danced to feel-good classics by Queen, Keane, Jess Glynne, Tina Turner, Bon Jovi, Take That, Earth, Wind & Fire, ELO, plus a selection of festive favourites.
Our incredible The Rock Choir Vocal Group performed throughout the show as the heart of the event, leading the audience through every song. This powerhouse vocal ensemble, made up of professional vocalists and Rock Choir Leaders, brought stunning harmonies and high-energy performances that radiated joy and unity. Together with the crowd, the Rock Choir Vocal Group turned the arena into an interactive celebration.
Guest Performances: An Unbelievable Line-Up
We were thrilled to welcome Emeli Sandé, the multi-platinum-selling singer-songwriter. Her powerful performance, which included “Yes You Can” and ‘Next to Me’, captivated the audience and showcased her exceptional talent, joined by thousands of Rock Choir members who had learned the arrangements earlier in the year.
Sam Ryder, the smash-hit sensation, was visibly moved as over 12,000 voices sang back to him during his hit “Mountain”, filling the arena with incredible harmony and energy.
Russell Watson, the UK’s best-selling classical tenor, delivered a stunning rendition of “You Raise Me Up”, bringing the entire arena to its feet and moving many to tears. The performance opened with a heartfelt duet of “Don’t Give Up” by Caroline Redman Lusher MBE and Russell, symbolising the strength, unity, and resilience at the heart of Rock Choir.
Opening the Party with DJ Pat Sharp
Opening the show in style, Pat Sharp set the stage with an upbeat and energetic DJ set packed with nostalgic hits and sing-along favourites. The crowd was on their feet from the very first track, helping to set the tone for an unforgettable night.
Creating Christmas Magic in the Arena
The show featured breathtaking special effects that transformed the arena into a festive wonderland, with pyrotechnics, snowfall, and confetti cannons creating a sensory experience that matched the scale and energy of the performance.

For the first time, Rock Choir LIVE opened its doors to the general public, and the response was nothing short of extraordinary. The overwhelming feedback reflected just how much this event meant to everyone involved.
