Aaron Bland – Rock Choir Aldridge
Aaron first discovered Rock Choir while on holiday, after watching a flashmob performance. Seeing the energy of everyone singing together made an impression, and it encouraged him to give Rock Choir a try for himself.
That moment led him to his local Rock Choir in Aldridge, West Midlands, where he found far more than a place to sing.
Finding people who feel like family
For Aaron, one of the best parts of joining has been the people he has met along the way.
“Meeting loads of new faces that make me feel like family.”
That feeling of welcome has become an important part of his Rock Choir experience, helping him feel connected and supported within the group.
A performance to remember
One of Aaron’s favourite memories has been performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, one of the world’s best-known arts festivals.
Taking part in such a recognised event gave him a performance experience to remember and added something special to his Rock Choir journey.
Support through difficult times
Rock Choir has also made a real difference to Aaron personally.
“Rock Choir has meant to me a lot. It’s helped me with my mental health and overcome grief.”
That support has stayed with him, giving him a place where music, friendship and encouragement come together.
Something worth sharing
Aaron’s experience has meant so much to him that he has recommended Rock Choir to friends and would encourage others to give it a try too.
He has also enjoyed being part of the audience at Rock Choir LIVE, where he loved every moment of the show.
From first seeing a flashmob while on holiday to becoming part of his local Rock Choir in Aldridge, Aaron has found friendship, support and a place that continues to mean a great deal.
