Zoe Alister

Choir Leader Zoe Alister runs Rock Choir in Jordanstown, Rock Choir in Ballymena, and Rock Choir in Ballymoney.

Zoe is a talented and passionate musician with a strong background in both performance and education. She graduated from Ulster University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Music and previously completed a Music with Production HND at Belfast Metropolitan College.

With experience as a solo singer-songwriter and as part of a band, Zoe’s main instrument is her voice, complemented by piano, which she has played since the age of seven. She has a particular passion for creating and performing original music, having been a runner-up in Forestside’s Singer-Songwriter competition, which earned her the opportunity to record and release her own song.

Zoe teaches vocals in both musical theatre and pop styles, as well as piano, and has experience running small group sessions focused on singing, acting, and dance. Her energy, creativity, and dedication to music make her a leader who inspires, motivates, and builds a vibrant, inclusive choir community.
