Valerie Turnbull
Valerie is a professional singer, and music teacher, teaching in drama and music schools, in addition to providing individual lessons to pupils of all ages.
Valerie graduated with an honours degree in Music Performance from the University of Glasgow, where her first study was singing. During her time at University, she performed in multiple choirs and held two different choral scholarships. Valerie regularly performs at weddings and has been invited to contribute to music for many high-profile events. These include performances on radio and television, for members of the royal family, and on international stages.
Valerie has been singing in choirs her whole life, joining her first choir at nine years old. She understands the value and importance of community choirs – having met most of her best friends through singing!
