Lauren is an experienced and professionally trained singer, musician, and vocal coach from Glasgow, with a lifelong love of music and a passion for bringing it to others. She studied music throughout her education, earning a Diploma in Music Performance with a specialism in Vocal Technique – a focus she brings into her choir teaching to ensure every member’s voice is healthy, strong, and full of character.

Lauren’s performing career is extensive and diverse. She has recorded at the world-famous Abbey Road Studios with the BBC Orchestra, performed at prestigious concert halls across the UK, and will be performing with Rock Choir at Birmingham’s NEC Arena. She has appeared in a BBC film, performed to audiences as large as 40,000 at London’s Hyde Park, and leads live performances with her choirs that showcase her versatility, professionalism, and love of connecting with an audience.

Beyond the stage, Lauren has worked in music therapy with elderly patients, including those with dementia and other specialist conditions, discovering firsthand the profound impact music can have on mental health and community connection. This experience continues to inspire her work with her choirs, where she blends professional technique with warmth, inclusivity, and fun.

Since joining Rock Choir in 2019, Lauren has launched and led choirs across Ayrshire and Glasgow Southside, creating vibrant communities where members can discover their voice, share in the joy of singing, and form life-long friendships. She loves watching her choir members grow in confidence, create unforgettable musical experiences, and connect with each other and audiences alike. Her sessions are energetic, relaxed, and always full of magic, personality, and fun – because for Lauren, singing is about so much more than notes: it’s about connection, expression, and joy.
