Fraser joined Rock Choir in 2024 and currently maintains a busy schedule running Rock Choirs in Southampton and Romsey alongside his work for the Nordoff and Robbins Music Therapy Charity where he develops and oversees the charity’s services across the South West of England and South Wales.

Fraser has an impressive musical pedigree and is a highly qualified musician, having completed a music degree at Oxford University, and trained in classical performance at London’s Royal Academy of Music during which time he held an organ scholarship at St Paul’s Cathedral.

After a couple of years living in the Middle East in his mid-20s, Fraser decided to train as a Music Therapist at Nordoff and Robbins, and his work in this field over 25 years with individuals in many different challenging circumstances has driven his passionate belief in the transforming power of music and singing, which connects people in a unique way, energising, uplifting and supporting physical, emotional and mental health.

Fraser is a trained singer as well as an expert keyboardist. He has run community choirs of different kinds for many years in different settings, and it was the passion he has had for rock music since childhood that led him to Rock Choir. He has not looked back! He adores the buzz of animating groups of singers and performing rock bangers out in all weathers – from the blistering sunshine of a hot July afternoon at Romsey Beggars Fair to a torrential downpour at Southampton International Boat Show!
