Robyn is a keen vocalist, guitarist, and keyboard player with a deep love for music in all its forms. She achieved her Grade 8 in Popular Vocals in 2019, marking a milestone in her musical journey, and has since dedicated herself to sharing her skills and passion with others. Over the past five years, Robyn has worked as a vocal coach both in schools and through private tuition, guiding singers of all ages and abilities. Her experience includes leading an over-50s choir in Lincolnshire and working with Stagecoach Performing Arts Company in West Bridgford, helping students develop their confidence and performance skills.
Currently, Robyn is completing a Level 4 Diploma in Teaching Performing Arts, further honing her expertise as an educator. Her commitment to singing runs deep—it’s not just a career, but a lifelong passion. Alongside her teaching, Robyn writes her own music, crafting songs that reflect her love for both rock and more contemporary styles. She also works with choirs outside of her professional teaching role, finding joy in collaborative music-making.
One of Robyn’s proudest roles is as a leader with Rock Choir, a position she finds immensely rewarding. Week after week, she looks forward to rehearsals, connecting with members, building community, and seeing the confidence of her singers grow. She believes choir leading is about more than just music—it’s about creating an environment where people can express themselves, make friends, and leave feeling uplifted.
When she’s not teaching or performing, Robyn embraces life’s other joys with the same enthusiasm she brings to music. A passionate traveller, she’s always looking for her next adventure, whether that’s exploring new cities, experiencing different cultures, or just finding the best spot for local cuisine. Her love for food extends to her kitchen, where she enjoys baking and experimenting with new recipes—always eager to perfect a cake or try her hand at a dish she’s never made before.
Robyn is also an avid concert-goer, equally happy in the front row of a Taylor Swift stadium show or headbanging to heavy rock in a packed club. Rock and metal music have been part of her identity for years, but her playlist spans genres and eras, reflecting her open-minded approach to music.
Away from the stage and travel, Robyn has a few quirky passions that bring her comfort and joy. She’s a dedicated Shrek fan—able to quote the films far too well—and a lifelong Harry Potter enthusiast. Whether she’s rewatching the movies, baking while singing along to her favourite tracks, or planning her next trip, she approaches everything with the same energy and warmth that define her teaching style.
For Robyn, music, creativity, and adventure aren’t just parts of life—they’re the heartbeat of it. Every performance, every lesson, and every journey is an opportunity to connect, inspire, and celebrate the joy of expression.
