Kate is a singer, songwriter, bandleader, and full-time harmony addict with a passion for getting people singing (and smiling) together.

Her musical journey began with classical training in voice and piano, but she was soon drawn into the worlds of pop, jazz, soul, and musical theatre. These days, Kate splits her time between the stage, the studio, and the choir room – and she wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Kate loves the buzz of live performance, whether she’s belting out Northern Soul hits in theatres across the UK, fronting her 18-piece big band celebrating Ella Fitzgerald (a dream project that honours one of the greatest voices of all time), or singing vintage swing harmonies with The Honeybirds, a 1940s trio full of lipstick and sass. She also gets to stretch her language skills and soak up Brazilian rhythms with Carioca Soul, a lush Bossa Nova project that she adores.

Along the way, Kate has shared stages and studios with some incredible artists, including Candi Staton, Roachford, Angie Brown, and Katrina from Katrina & The Waves. She’s performed across Europe, from Pink Floyd tribute tours to high-energy dance shows. One of her favourite projects is performing live with Judge Jules, where she brings iconic club anthems to life with a powerhouse ten-piece band.

When she’s not on stage, Kate can be found creating behind the scenes – writing toplines, arranging harmonies, and collaborating with fantastic musicians across genres. Over the years, she’s worked on everything from musical theatre scores to dance tracks, concept albums to film music. She’s also directed music for stage productions, composed for children’s theatre, and arranged for a variety of vocal harmony groups.

But for all the touring, gigging, and studio work, nothing lights Kate up quite like leading choirs. There’s something magical about people coming together to sing, especially when they didn’t think they could. She believes everyone has a voice worth sharing – and if she can help someone discover theirs (and have a good laugh while they’re at it), she knows she’s doing her job right.

Kate’s choirs are all about joy, energy, and that unbeatable feeling of raising the roof together. Whether they’re performing or just enjoying rehearsal, she makes it her mission to bring out the best in every singer – even those who swear they “can’t sing” (spoiler: they can).

People often ask where Kate gets her energy. Honestly? Singing. (And maybe coffee. But mostly singing.)

So, if you hear a burst of laughter, a strong harmony, and maybe a cheeky bit of choreography coming from the rehearsal room – don’t be shy. Come say hi. They’re probably mid-song… and they’d love to have you
