Clare is a choir leader, musician, and vocalist with a passion for creating vibrant, emotionally resonant musical experiences – whether on stage, in the rehearsal room, or behind the scenes. With a background that spans performance, composition, and vocal leadership, she brings both artistic flair and a collaborative spirit to everything she does.
She has had the joy of performing both locally and internationally, gracing stages from the iconic Glastonbury Acoustic Stage to the historic Ulster Hall, and even the grand Royal Albert Hall. Equally, she has performed in sticky-floored pubs, muddy fields, and even in a yurt… because “showbusiness” isn’t very “showy” a lot of the time!
Since 2022, Clare has had the absolute delight of being a Rock Choir leader, bringing energy, harmony, and the occasional dance break to every rehearsal. Guiding this incredible community of voices has taken them to some unforgettable stages – like the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Balmoral Show, and Belfast City Hall – where they have shared music, laughter, and the kind of feel-good moments that only a well-placed key change can deliver.
While conducting is her daily dose of magic, she also wears the hat (and sometimes the headphones) of a singer-songwriter. She has released original music that is close to her heart and has had the privilege of creating music not just for herself, but for other artists and for the screen. Whether it is a soulful ballad, a punchy pop hook, or something cinematic and atmospheric, she loves crafting soundscapes that tell a story.
At the core of everything she does is a sunny personality, a determined spirit, and a belief that music is meant to connect us; to move us, lift us, and occasionally make us cry in public (in the best way). Whether she is leading a choir of 100, writing a new song, or stepping on stage with a mic and a grin, she is here to make sure the music does not just sound good – it FEELS good.
