Will Brown and Rock Choir Come Together for ‘Welcome to Brownsville’
50 Rock Choir Members stepped into the spotlight to appear alongside singer-songwriter Will Brown in a special choir version of his latest single, Welcome to Brownsville, creating a collaboration built around music, belonging and community.
Filmed at The Old Waiting Room in Peckham Rye, London, the project gave members the opportunity to experience a professional music video shoot while working alongside one of the UK’s most exciting emerging artists.
Originally from Kansas and now based in London, Will Brown has built a growing reputation for his heartfelt songwriting and soulful performances. Following playlist support from BBC Radio 2, appearances on Sunday Brunch, Sunday Morning Live, BBC Radio 4’s Loose Ends and BBC Radio London, as well as supporting Jools Holland on tour, Welcome to Brownsville became the perfect opportunity to bring people together through music.

A Unique Day on Set
For the 50 members involved, the filming offered a rare opportunity to experience the production of a professional music video from behind the scenes while performing as part of the finished release.
Between takes, members chatted with Will, posed for photographs and learned more about the creative process involved in bringing a music video to life. One Rock Choir Member described the experience simply as a “bucket list moment.”
Filmed inside the atmospheric Old Waiting Room, the venue provided a distinctive backdrop that complemented the warmth and intimacy of the song.
