Dave was singing and performing from a very early age. He studied music, dance, drama and became a chorister at St Albans Cathedral Choir while at school. He developed a passion for performing musical theatre and won a scholarship to study at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts focusing on the voice.
Dave has a string of performing credits spanning Theatre, TV and film. These include lots of musicals, Grange Hill and being a prefect in Harry Potter & The Philosophers Stone. Alongside these performing credits, Dave also writes and performs his own music. He has produced three of his own EP’s and has even written a musical.
In the late 2000’s Dave got into teaching and became a lecturer for the Drama course at University Of Northampton. He went on to become a part of the Performing Arts department at Milton Keynes College where he started the Music course. He decided to break away from full time education and became a Rock Choir in 2015. His journey with Rock Choir has taken him all over the country, with wonderful highlights such as BBC Proms In The Park 2019, singing as part of the Rock Choir Vocal Group with Michael Ball & Josh Groban, performing at the Edinburgh Fringe, singing at the world famous Abbey Road Studios and recording a very special video in aid of the Diana Foundation at Althorp House.
Dave not only runs choirs in Northampton, Higham Ferrers and Market Harborough, he is the Regional Brand Manager for the East of England for Rock Choir and is also trying to bring the magic of Rock Choir to children with Rock Choir Rock Stars.
