Chris has travelled the world in his professional career so far, performing in locations such as California and Dubai! He has settled in the southern part of the UK, Bournemouth where he leads 5 incredible choirs based around BCP and the New Forest.
Alongside his near 15 years of time at Rock Choir, Chris has also developed a company called WaveLine Studios in which he shares his expertise in music production, live performance and content Creation. He has links with some of the most influential brands in the music industry including Sennheiser, Arturia, Nord Keyboards and more! As a Rock Choir leader, Chris has performed with his choirs in countless locations including Christchurch Priory, the BIC and the BBC Gardeners World Spring Fair! He prides himself on creating a fun and energetic atmosphere in his choir sessions and also puts his experience in sound engineering and technology to use each week by providing the best possible experience in the room! Trained as a classical pianist and moving on to Jazz and contemporary pop music, Chris uses his skills on the keyboard to create beautiful performances alongside the choir form time to time, which brings a unique perspective and often organises social sing sessions down the beach for all in the choirs to join in with!
A fun fact about Chris is that he actually met his wife through Rock Choir! Charlotte Mutch-Jones who was a choir leader in Rock Choir for almost 10 years said yes to Chris and we got married Romsey Abbey with over 300 of our choir members singing the popular song A Thousand Years by Christina Perri!
Growing up in a Christian church environment means that Chris also knows and understands community. He places a huge emphasis on welcoming everyone and making anyone feel like they can participate fully in the session!
He uses his connection to the Gospel music scene to craft interesting and fun warm ups to get you singing without thinking about what you’re doing!
