Chloe leads the Rock Choirs across Newbury, Thatcham, Speen, Tadley, and Hungerford, as well as the Green Park Corporate Choir in Reading. She’s been part of the Rock Choir team for four years now, and it’s been a fantastic journey so far.
Each week, Chloe gets to work with a brilliant group of singers who come together to enjoy music, build confidence, and have a great time. One of the best parts of the job is seeing how the choirs grow – both musically and personally. Whether it’s someone finding their voice for the first time or a group nailing a new arrangement, those moments of progress and connection are what make choir so special.
Over the years, Chloe has had the chance to take her choirs to some amazing places – including performances at Highclere Castle (best known as the set for Downton Abbey), CarFest, and Newbury Pride. She’s also been lucky enough to sing on Virgin Radio, take part in the ‘You’re the Voice’ Rock Choir Tour, and perform alongside other choir leaders as opening support for Olly Murs and Blue – all real highlights in her career so far.
Chloe graduated from the Academy of Contemporary Music in 2020 with First Class Honours in Music Performance. Since then, she’s worked as a session vocalist and songwriter, with her original music featured on BBC Radio. But what she’s really come to value is creating a relaxed and supportive space in choir where people can unwind, learn something new, and enjoy singing together – no experience necessary.
Each session is welcoming and informal – there are no auditions, no need to read music, and no pressure. Whether you’re completely new to singing or just haven’t done it in a while, you’ll find a group of like-minded people and a chance to get stuck into some great music.
If you’re curious about what Rock Choir is all about, you’re very welcome to come along for a free taster session. It’s a great way to meet the group, try out a rehearsal, and see if it’s something you’d enjoy.
Hope to see you at a session soon!
