Josie studied music all her life, achieving a BMus in Popular Music Performance and is continually researching and furthering her musical knowledge and love of harmonies. As the youngest of 4 singing sisters, Josie was always arranging harmonies for herself and her sisters to sing together, before she even realised what Vocal Arranging was!
Josie’s love for harmonies comes from years of listening to The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, classical pieces, musical theatre and any pop music that moved her. After a long time working outside of the music industry Josie’s dream was realised when she joined Caroline and the team in 2015 and became a Rock Choir Leader. Since then, Josie has had the outstanding good fortune of leading over 15 choirs, taking her members to incredible places and watching the Rock Choir magic first hand.
After the pandemic where the world moved online, Josie continued to provide online support to our Rock Choir members by inviting them to join our online community, made up of members from all over the world, learning the same wonderful songs and continuing to stay together despite distance between us.
Josie joined the Rock Choir arranging team and has since had the privilege of arranging songs for our wonderful Rock Choir membership to sing. A particular highlight has been arranging ‘A Thousand Years’, which became a firm favorite amongst the membership. Josie is thrilled to be part of the best team in the world, and looks forward to many years of joy together!
