Rock Choir’s Creator and Creative Director Caroline Redman Lusher has confirmed that Rock Choir has been invited to perform with two of the world’s greatest classical voices, Aled Jones and Russell Watson, as special guests on their ‘Christmas with Russell and Aled’ Tour.

A representation of Rock Choir Members will join the classical duo as the ‘official’ choir on stage, where they will perform new arrangements of a selection of beloved Christmas songs, some of which feature on Russell and Aled’s latest album release. The Rock Choir HQ creative team have worked around the clock to put together, bespoke learning resources for the ‘Rockies’ to rehearse and prep ahead of the dates.

There are 21 venues on the tour and it’s a fantastic opportunity and experience for our Rockies and Rock Choir Leaders!

Russell and Aled are back together after a three-year hiatus and embark on their colossal UK tour this November and December. The show will feature traditional carols such as O Holy NightO Little Town of Bethlehem and In The Bleak Midwinter, alongside festive favourites including White ChristmasIt’s Beginning To Look At Lot Like ChristmasLittle Drummer Boy, and Mistletoe and Wine.

Russell Watson has always been a huge supporter of Rock Choir and once famously said that Rock Choir was his favourite choir!!  On speaking about the tour, he comments –

“To get to share a stage again with Aled during our UK tour later this year will be such a special experience after three years apart. I hope ‘Christmas With Aled and Russell’ is on all of your Christmas lists, and I can’t wait to see you all on tour throughout November and December!”

Aled Jones comments –

“We always have a blast on tour, so getting to sing our favourite Christmas songs together and with Rock Choir in so many stunning venues will be a real treat!”
