👑 A Royal Day at Highgrove House with Rock Choir 👑
Today marked a significant moment for Rock Choir as 24 members from Bath, Bristol, Cheltenham, Stroud, and Yate performed at Highgrove House in honour of King Charles III’s 75th birthday. This extraordinary event saw us in the company of esteemed guests, including community heroes and representatives from the NHS and Windrush, all celebrating 75 years of remarkable contributions.
As guests enjoyed their afternoon tea, the choir captivated everyone with a rendition of ‘Hallelujah’, a favourite of King Charles, who entered to our harmonious welcome. The atmosphere was electric as the choir later serenaded ‘Happy Birthday’ during the cake-cutting ceremony, followed by an exhilarating performance of ‘Sweet Child Of Mine’ as the King departed.
Our members, representing the spirit and talent of Rock Choir, excelled with their dedication and flawless performance. Special recognition goes to Choir Leader Alex Hawker for leading this remarkable group to success.
A heartfelt congratulations to all involved in making this day a resounding success and a cherished memory in the history of Rock Choir.
Happy 75th Birthday, King Charles III!
