Lyndsay Milligan – Rock Choir Glenrothes

When a friend introduced Lyndsay to Rock Choir, she decided to give it a try with two things in mind: meeting new people and having the opportunity to perform.

Since joining the Glenrothes Rock Choir, both have become an important part of her experience.

Making new friends has been one of the things Lyndsay has enjoyed most, while singing together has also brought opportunities to perform and create memories beyond weekly rehearsals.

Performing in Fife

Among Lyndsay’s favourite experiences have been performances at Fife College, including performing at its Dunfermline campus.

These local performances have given her exactly the kind of opportunities she hoped for when she first joined, combining singing with the chance to share the experience alongside the friends she has made through choir.

Thursday nights with Dad

There is another part of Lyndsay’s Rock Choir routine that makes it particularly special.

Every Thursday night, her dad enjoys taking her to rehearsal.

It’s a simple part of the week, but one that has become wrapped up in Lyndsay’s experience of Rock Choir alongside the friendships and performances she originally joined for.

For Lyndsay, joining after a friend’s recommendation has brought new people into her life, more opportunities to perform and something to look forward to each Thursday night.
