Choir Leader Stacey Hobday runs Rock Choir in Weymouth.
A multitalented contemporary singer and vocal coach, Stacey Rae Hobday has been playing the trumpet and tenor horn from the age of seven and singing in public from the tender age of 10! After gaining a BTEC National Diploma in Creative Music (Triple Distinction), a Foundation Degree in Music Design and Performance from Bournemouth University, and a BA (Hons) in Music from University of Southampton.
Stacey Rae Hobday has performed around Europe alongside artists such as John Legend, George Benson, Norah Jones, Van Morrison, Alicia Keys, Mark Ronson and Gnarls Barkley.
Being a Rock Choir leader means Stacey can share her knowledge and passion for music with people of all ages, making people smile and feel energised through song – as she says: ‘To have the opportunity to work within your passion is the best job you could have!’
