Samantha Smith, Rock Choir Leader, Head of Training Content and Head of Creative for Rock Choir, is a multi-talented teacher, performer and communicator.
Sam runs choirs in Chobham and Dorking as well as a brand new Baby and Me Rock Choir in Farnham. This choir is for parents/carers and their babies (non-walkers) to come together and be part of Rock Choir in a relaxed, safe and friendly environment.
Through her role as the longest standing Choir Leader under Caroline Redman-Lusher, Founder of Rock Choir, Sam has honed her skills as a pianist and singer, as well as intimately assisting with the astounding growth of the brand.
Knowing Rock Choir inside and out, Sam inspires, entertains and excites hundreds of members weekly whilst teaching them beautiful harmonies to Rock and Pop songs. In her spare time, she also teaches one-to-one, and group, contemporary singing.
Highlights of Sam’s Rock Choir career include conducting at the Royal Albert Hall on two occasions, supporting ‘The Soldiers’ on tour and singing solo at the O2!
Following her admission to B.I.M.M (Brighton Institute of Modern Music), she gained a degree in professional musicianship having previously studied classical piano, flute, french horn and choral work.
Sam is known to Rock Choir members for her endless dedication, enthusiasm and energy, with sessions leaving everyone on a high! This is seen through the high rate of membership retention within her choirs. Her dedication and passion for the job is ultimately mirrored in her members’ love for Rock Choir and the endless opportunities it provides to them.
