Mike Aris

Choir Leader Mike Aris runs Rock Choir in Taunton, Rock Choir in Weston-Super-Mare, Rock Choir in Burnham-on-Sea, Rock Choir in Clevedon, and Rock Choir in Bridgwater.

Mike has been a professional musician for over a decade now, graduating from Bath Spa University with a BA Hons in Music.

He studied singing and also plays the Guitar and Trumpet, but not at the same time! Over the years Mike has performed in many different function bands, touring shows, cabarets and pantomimes, which have taken him all over the country and internationally.

Performing at a variety of venues including theatres, cruise ships, festivals, and holiday parks, he has had a very exciting and varied performance career so far.

Prior to becoming a Choir Leader at Rock Choir, he successfully ran a children’s rock school in the Bath and Wiltshire area for the past 6 years.

Mike creates a very relaxed and fun atmosphere to learn in, and is passionate about making music entertaining and accessible to all.

He is so excited to be part of the team at Rock Choir and is looking forward to everything to come in the future.
