

Jennie Harwood
Jennie is a talented multi-instrumentalist and singer with a BA (Hons) in Popular Music Production.
Her background is in singing and performing, having done both from a young age. She is also an accomplished songwriter who had her latest track played live on air across the East Midlands as part of BBC Introducing East Midlands.
She has performed in a number of prestigious locations over the years such as; BBC Proms in the Park, Wembley Stadium, The NEC, The Edinburgh Fringe, The Nottingham Albert Hall, The Nottingham Concert Hall and various festivals and gig locations across the UK.
Throughout her life Jennie has been strongly influenced by her love of soulful female vocalists such as Aretha Franklin, Carole King, Jessie Ware, Stevie Nicks and Adele. She is a successful singer/songwriter in her own right going under the stage name Singing Jennie as well as being in a popular duo called Blueberry Collins. As well as working in the performance side of music she also has a background in Radio and Music Production.
Jennie is the Rock Choir leader for Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire and also works as part of the Rock Choir Social Media Team in her role as Social Media Rock Choir Leader support.
She has been with the Rock Choir family since 2013 and continues to showcase her love of singing and music through her Rock Choirs. Jennie believes that music can help you through any moment in life, no matter how hard your day, you will always feel better after you’ve had a good ol’ sing!
