Chris Burgess
Chris has been a professional musician and educator for over 20 years.
He writes and arranges music for Theatre, Film & TV. His original music has been performed in productions nationwide including a 10 year run the Millfield Theatre, Edmonton. In addition, Chris has written, arranged and produced music for such clients as: Trinity College London, Harrods, Hal Leonard, Lapland UK and Performers College, Essex.
Chris recently composed his first film score for the short film “Infection: Ground Zero” which is currently enjoying selection at more than a dozen international film festivals.
His score has won an Award of Excellence at the Accolade Global Film Competition and was a finalist at the Milan Shorts Film festival 2023.
As a drummer Chris has performed in numerous shows including; Only Fools and Horses (West End), Jersey Boys (West End), Fame (West End), Dancing in the Streets (West End), Back To Bacharach (UK Tour), Forever in Blue Jeans (UK Tour), Voice of the Heart Karen Carpenter (UK Tour) and Sweet Caroline (UK Tour). He was also resident drummer at The Ritz, London from 2016-2021.
Chris is delighted to be joining the team at Rock Choir and looking forward to seeing lots of happy faces, enjoying the unique experience of singing in a choir.
