Andy Hollick
Andrew Hollick grew up amongst a talented family of musicians including 6 musical siblings who became known as Plymouths answer to the Von Trapps! After learning to play in his fathers Brass Band, Andrew developed an interest in the drums, which he went on to study at BIMM University Brighton. Inspired by musicinaship of the band Muse, he also discovered a love for the piano and quickly added this to his musical repertoire. This led to success in a heavy rock band touring Germany, signing to a record company and developing 2 albums alongside Ace from Skunk Anansie.
Andrew has also been playing drums in his events band now for the past 15 years, playing parties and weddings up and down the country alongside high profile awards ceremonies.
He has a natural ear for music which he has honed through his songwriting and arranging over the 20 years of his music career.
He became involved with Rock Choir as a Maternity Dep Leader for his wife, Sarah who is also a Rock Choir Leader! Since then he has started his own choirs and is now the proud leader of the Shaftesbry, Sherborne and Yeovil Choirs. Andy brings infectious humour and extraordinary talent to the role, making sure his choirs are always learning and importantly, always having fun!
