Alice Morgan
Choir Leader Alice Morgan runs Rock Choir in Gravesend and Rock Choir in Rochester.
Alice graduated from the prestigious contemporary Dartington College of Arts with a degree in Music and is currently undertaking a Masters at Kingston University in Composing for Film and TV. Her passion for singing and playing the piano has seen her perform on stages such as The Royal Albert Hall, The Royal Festival Hall, Bestival and Secret Garden Party, not to mention regional theatres around the country and a current central London residency.
Her work as choir leader on new musical ‘A Pacifist’s Guide to the War on Cancer’ involved the musical theatre students of Central School of Speech and Drama and the show went on to receive a 10-week run at the National Theatre. She also worked as vocal arranger and choir leader on Brian Lobel’s acclaimed ’24 Italian Songs and Arias’ which received showings at The Royal Opera House and Latitude Festival. Alice loves musical theatre and her dream to write and stage a show was brought one step closer when she won the Iris Theatre Musical Blind Date competition.
Alice firmly believes in the positive benefits of communal singing and loves bringing people together to share this joy. Her fun upbeat sessions are inclusive and provide a great regular dose of soul food.
