Adam Abo Henriksen
Adam Abo Henriksen is the Rock Choir leader for Braintree, Bury St Edmunds, Chelmsford, Colchester, Great Dunmow, Sudbury and Witham. He is a grade eight pianist and singer with a background in classical and musical theatre performance. He has both performed in and taken the role of musical director for a variety of theatre company productions, and sings as part of a chamber choir.
Adam also performs as part of The Old Telephone Exchange: a quartet which performs pieces from classic barbershop to contemporary arrangements at events that have included the Royal Opera House’s Thurrock Festival.
Alongside his work as a musician, Adam has worked as an English teacher and also enjoys performing magic. He is delighted to be a part of Rock Choir and is proud to be a part of the musical community that it creates.
I still love every session, performance and event with my wonderful choirs as much as I did in my first year!
It’s been an amazing journey with such special opportunities, from recording at Abbey Road to performing at BBC’s Proms in the Park and it’s always a pleasure to share the joy of singing with my choirs and our audiences.
I feel incredibly lucky to work for such a supportive and brilliant company and team.
