Poppy Worthington-Harris is a mezzo-soprano based in Staffordshire. She recently completed her undergraduate degree at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, studying in the School of Vocal Studies and Opera under the tutelage of Sam Queen and Lynne Dawson.
She has performed at the BBC Proms in Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 and has played Serpetta in Mozart’s La finta giardiniera. She also works as a singing teacher at Denstone College and currently leads several choirs across Manchester. She has appeared twice on ITV’s Christmas Carols and works closely with outreach programmes in Manchester and Staffordshire, while developing a business aimed at making opera and classical music more accessible.
